Lions and Roses is the flagship event of the EFF. Organised by 1966 Entertainment and hosted by the players in every tournament year, the event champions the charitable causes supported by the EFF.
On Sunday 18th May 2014 the entire World Cup squad came togethr at The Grove Hotel to host their second ever Lions and Roses gala dinner. Presented by BBC's Sport's Gaby Logan, guests and celebrities from the worlds of music and sport came together for an unforgettable evening of entertainment that raised close to £400k for charity.
Kicking off with a champagne reception, followed by five star dining courtesy of Marco Pierre White, the event culminated in show stopping performances from two internationally acclaimed music acts; Brit Award winners The Kaiser Chiefs and platinum selling duo Rizzle Kicks.
Led by the UK's No:1 auctioneer, Jonny Gould, guests were given the chance to bid on an array of exclusive items and money-can't-buy prizes, several of which were donated by the England Team.
In addition to Lions and Roses there are currently two other EFF events in the calendar. The EFF Charity Cup and the EFF Charity Golf Cup.
